<description>My email, for anyone who wants to use portions of it:

--------------------

Dear Sirs,

I am writing regarding your planning application CA/06/00395/CAN for 41 St. George's Place in Barton ward.

I, among many others, feel that this is an inadvisable development to authorise. The prices for the properties would be too high for those actually in need of them to afford, and it would deprive Canterbury of one of its major entertainment venues. This would include Planet Lazer, a popular venue for increasingly rare physical exercise-based entertainment, which is unique in its type for Canterbury.

The fallout from this would be disenfranchised young people with even fewer places to go for nightlife in Canterbury - a sector in which Canterbury itself is severely lacking anyway - and would lead to more trouble on the streets after dark.

Please consider these concerns, and I urge you to deny permission for this purely destructive redevelopment.

Many thanks
